Chris joined MBDA in 2004 after completing a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Ergonomics and travelling round the world, twice. Chris has gained HF and HFI experience working on a variety of MBDA-led projects including leading the Human Factors effort on PAAMS (Primary Anti Air Missile System) and its integration onto the Type 45 Destroyer.

Chris has also been closely involved with Synthetic Environment based warfighting experiments investigating the utility of Network Enabled Capability (NEC)technologies including the NITEworks Medium Weight Capability Theme, and research strands in the NEC Integrated Weapons & Future Offensive Air System Programmes. During this time Chris has developed and used a number of measures for assessing Situational Awareness and Shared Situational Awareness, workload and teamwork, but still finds time for good old fashioned ergonomic issues like where to put the 'big red button'.
