David Leahy

David Leahy is a Human Factors Consultant. He joined MBDA in March 2007. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Psychology, a M.Sc. in Ergonomics (UCL London) and an M.Sc in Information Systems Management. David spent the early part of his career as a knowledge engineer and programmer developing expert systems. Since then he has broadened out into more general software engineering, specifically focussing on the Human Computer Interface and ensuring usability is included at every stage of the design lifecycle. He has worked on a broad range of civilian and military projects - each requiring their own particular ways of working. Currently he is completing a HFI DTC Cultural Awareness work package which will result in a decision support tool prototype.
